Had to add my personal pet peeve. That is starting a sentence with "Anyways"
....starting with "Anyway" is bad enough, but then to pluralize it.
Aaargh!!!
Also, has any one else noticed how children (and adults) like to say "I was
just kidding" or "teasing" when caught in a lie??? I really get thoroughly
disgusted when that is the excuse for inappropriate behavior in the library,
or even outside of school. I notice parents seem to think this makes the
behavior unnecessary to punish, too.
Just my two cents.
