'Netters, Before Peter closes the books on this thread I'll add a few more: 1. "got" My state's slogan for years was "You've got a friend in Pennsylvania." It was on bill boards, TV ads and our license plates. A friend of mine (English/Reading teacher) was so angry at this she had vanity plates with "Have a" made for her car! Thank goodness we now have a new slogan. 2. "sennance" "imported" These are only spoken ones. The sad thing is that I have heard these two on national TV news.
