Good afternoon,

I hope someone out there can help me with this. Is there any way to take a
group of individual slides and create a new presentation WITHOUT losing the
animation effects?

One of my fifth grade classes choose to do a PowerPoint presentation as
their final project in a research unit I did with them. We were only able
to get into the computer lab for one 40 minute session, so I had each group
design their presentation ahead of time, with each member of the group
responsible for creating one slide. That part worked pretty well. Most of
the groups have finished. My problem is this: each student saved their
slide in their individual directory. The computer lab person has copied
their slides into my directory, and I want to take each slide and create
one slide show for the whole class. I can copy the slide onto a blank
slide in the new presentation, but I lose the animation and sounds. I was
going to save each group's slides onto a disk, but the computer person told
me this would be easier... Now we can't figure out how to make the new
presentation.

Please help if you can. I'm using PowerPoint 2000.
