Hi Everyone, I have recently been hired as a new librarian for next school year. I have already talked to two staff members that have expressed a concern that my library does not have enough resources of interest to their special ed students. I know of some such as the Lake Classics Series that have classic books in comic format, Comic books, and that books with audio are effective. However, that is the extent of what I know. I would like more suggestions as to what works for special ed kiddos in the library. Keep in mind that it's 7th - 8th grade middle school. I'll compile responses into a hit for everyone to see. Sincerely, George Canning New Librarian 2003 -2004 Hutchison Junior High Arlington, Texas GeorgLms@aol.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
