Betty Winslow wrote: "that sound you hear is Dr. Seuss spinning in his grave.... Audrey Seuss has a lot to answer for." Can I add something here? Last year my well meaning music teacher and a first grade teacher wrote a play for the third grade chorus based on The Grinch. I insisted they write a letter and get copyright permission. They were denied (I was surprised they even got a response) I was not very popular for insisting they write that letter, even though I know it was the right things to do. How can they sell Cat in the Hat everything and turn down a third grade play? Could it be because they wouldn't make any MONEY off of us? How rude.
