Dear Colleagues, One of the requirements of LM_NET is that one have a complete ID in their messages posted. Over the years I have noticed that most of us do that. We identify ourselves by name, job title, school or job location, and include our e-mail address. I have listed a few reasons why it is important to always include a complete ID in e-mail correspondence. Can anyone add to this list? Please share with the group. Reasons: ID in one's e-mail... shows pride in the work you do and where you do it lets people know some basic "professional" things about you identifies you as a member of a profession or specialty shows pride in the profession and services you provide allows people to more easily communicate with you by e-mail "advertises" and promotes school library service Peter Peter Milbury, LM_NET Co-Moderator School Librarian/CA TeleMentor, Chico HS, Chico, CA ............................................................
