Hi, A while back I sent out this message: Hello everybody, I have a technology question for you. I know that if you go into Tools, Internet options, security, restricted sites, sites You can block off certain websites. What is happening is that the kids are getting on the Internet and messing up the computers. We take Benchmarks (tests)on a certain site on the Internet. Is there a way, other than blocking off individual sites, to keep kids only on the one Internet site? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks, Margo I didn't get too many responses. These are what I did get: I think the application Web Whacker might work for this purpose. The student isn't actually on the internet when the site is web whacked and is a stand-alone file. <http://www.webwhacker.com/products/whacker/> ------------------------------------------------------- We use a system called Fortress. Only our computer tech guy and I know the pass word and can get in. Students do not have access. ------------------------------------ Webwhacker is an offline browser and with Fortress you can only get to whatever the tech people decide, I guess. I suppose it depends on how much money you want to spend and which one best suits your purposes. Thanks to all who responded.
