Do you know this book?

Hello.  I have a teacher looking for a specific book to read to her class
for Veteran's day.  All that she remembers about it is that the story is
told by a 10 year boy that is asking his grandfather questions about the
war - WWI or WWII.  Thanks in advance for your help!
