HI Netters! Do any of your schools use leapfrog pads and books for your English language learners or English as second language learners? Anybody have these in their library for general use? How effective are these tools for helping kids learn English? Learning to read? Are the leappads sent home with students? How many do you have per student? Are the books that accompany these checked out through the media center or some other department? Would you recommend these for struggling readers or English learners? I am trying to decide whether this is a good purchase for the media center or if ESL or reading should make the purchase. Pam Gelbmann, Media Specialist Wilson/Johnsville Elem.
