Hi all - I am on a committee at my high school that is looking into the scheduling of midterm and final exams. Currently we schedule those exams based on periods. We are looking to move to an exam schedule that is based on subjects (all math at the same time, all history at the same time, etc.). I am looking for answers to the following questions: Does your school currently schedule midterms or finals based on subject area? What does the schedule look like? What are the logistics of running this schedule? What issues come up with this schedule? (For example, how do you deal with students who double-up in math or other subjects? Do departments rotate through the schedule so the same department doesn't have to rush grading each year?) Thank you - Amy Short Library Media Specialist Westford Academy 30 Patten Road Westford, MA 01886 (978) 692-5570 x2143 Fax - (978) 692-5502 ashort@westford.mec.edu -- -------------------------------------------------------------------- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
