[LM_NET] HIT: ELEMENTARY RUBRICS FOR PICTURE BOOKS

Here’s my  posting of replies I received for a rubric for elementary students 
making their  own picture books.  Thanks to all  who responded.

Check out  Rubistar.com You have to sign up but it is free and there are lots 
of rubrics  already created by topics. 

If you don't  get a pre-made rubric for the picture books, you may get some 
ideas from  Rubistar if you check out some of the samples.  It's very user 
friendly and  I can usually get some ideas and create a rubric in less than an  
hour. 
 

Rubistar  allows you to make rubrics and even save them at the site. You can 
even search  rubrics others have made, though I just make my own, then copy 
and paste into a  Word document and save it in my computer.

I know it's  late in the year, but I would REALLY appreciate it if anyone 
knows of a good  pre-made rubric for 5-6th graders who are making their own 
picture books.   I've looked online, but haven't found much.  Thanks.
