While the teacher has still not totally confirmed this, and I did ask her to, I feel safe in stating we are pretty sure the answer to our query (see below) is an episode of the old TV series "The Twilight Zone" by Rod Serling. According to one responder the old episodes are now available in DVD. I had started to try to thank individuals but that got beyond me so I repeat a public gratitude to you all. The other two overwhelming responses were the movie of the Ambrose Bierce short story "An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge" which is what I thought and gave her our copy to check, and an episode of M.A.S.H. She definitely said it was not the Ambrose Bierce movie, and didn't watch M.A.S.H. but did watch "The Twilight Zone," so that is why I feel almost 99% sure it is the clip she was remembering. We would never have gotten this without your minds.
