[LM_NET] TECH: Digital Talking Books

OK, this may be too far afield for us, but I am interested in DAISY DTBs.
We are beginning to consider this technology, and I am researching the
format usefulness as well as the digital talking book players that are used.
  If you are using this would you please let me know,

1.  what category of DTB are you using?  Why?
2.  what type of player are you using and why?
3.  how do you handle the players?  Do your users purchase them?  Does the
school?

Thanks for your input.  Any other insights that you have regarding this
technology would also be appreciated.
