You're gonna love this one! Yesterday I took my five year old to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. They have a mock TV studio with a blue screen. There is a real camera that will record you in front of the blue screen and monitors that will superimpose you on the video that feeds on a continuous loop. The loop is about an hour of peppy music, with peppy people dancing with the Chuck E. Cheese characters. Sometimes the music is good stuff...old pop standards and new kids music. Anyhoo, I was dancing with my daughter in front of the camera when I happened to glance up at the monitor. We were dancing in a library! It was a little disorienting for a moment. I stepped back to watch more, and sure enough, in dances a 'librarian' with a bun, huge cats eye glasses, conservatively and unattractively dressed, right down to her sensible shoes. She was gettin' down in the library. She would dance a bit, then look around guiltily as if someone might catch her, then dance some more. At the end of the segment, she straightened her self up and got back to work. So sad!
