I would LOVE to be able to read at work, but with 30 classes a week, it's impossible. However, I do read a lot at home. I take home about 20 books a month, I try to get new ones from the public library so I can decide whether or not to order them for my school for the following year. I read about 50-75 kids books over the summer. I also write reviews for the local conglomerate of public & school librarians, so that's an additional 10 or so every 2 months. I visit Barnes & Noble at least once a week to check for new titles (especially picture books), I read SLJ and choose books that way, and read ones that seem interesting to me. Of course, I can't read everything, but I do read every book that I order for my school, which is about 300 books (many being picture books and beginning chapter books).
