Good Moring fellow LM Netters, I have just learned that I will be teaching a group intensive resource 4th grade boys. Last year we integrated them with a 3rd grade class but the information literacy skills lessons were too difficult for them. Most are reading at a first grade level. The teacher and I decided that an author study would be the best way to start the year. A fellow teacher suggested reading the Poppleton books, but these seem too simplistic. I would love to do The Time Warp Trio and use the author's web site however this probably isn't the best starting point. Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated!!!!!! Many thanks, Carrie Day LMS Snowshoe Elem Wasilla, AK akdays@gci.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
