I am interested in the Readers' Theater format for helping students build fluency in their reading skills. I have an actual "Readers' Theater" 2nd grade teacher's manual but want to know a few other things about it if anyone has experience and is willing to share. Some specific questions I have are: 1. Is Readers' Theater by Evan-Moore the only source for this type of program that is available? 2. How extensive can one go with the costs of this program (ie. costumes, sets, etc.) 3. Does it work best if tied to the recommended bibliographic titles listed at the end of each script? 4. Do you like/ dislike this program and why? Thanks so much for any input.
