O great beacons of knowledge and wisdom, I have just been asked to select a dictionary to buy for every fourth grade classroom. That means we're going to be buying approximately 300 dictionaries based on my recommendation. No pressure! I'm torn because I know different teachers want different features, and I'm obviously not going to make everyone happy with my selection. Of course, to make things even more difficult they would like me to pick out a used textbook from Budgettext. So, does anyone have any suggestions for a really great fourth grade dictionary that would make most teachers happy most of the time? I've always been a fan of Scholastic and World Book, but would love to hear some specific titles or other publishers that you have been really pleased with. Thanks in advance!
