I am an elementary school librarian in VA, teaching on a fixed schedule. I see every class, once per six days, for 45 minutes. I always need lessons! I have developed many, but am always trying to improve my teaching. I've corresponded with fellow Virginia librarian Robert Joyce about perhaps trying some online collaboration to develop lessons, incorporating the SOLs. If you are a Va librarian and find yourself in a similar situation, and would like to join us. Email me and I'll include you as a writer on the wiki, giving you the rights to edit, post, comment and so on. Please don't let the technology scare you, (if wiki's are new to you), I'm learning this as we go along. I blog now, and that was pretty painless to learn. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. The wiki is located at http://librarylessons.wetpaint.com. I'll try to post a lesson today as a starting point for discussion and editing. Could be cool!
