[LM_NET] TECH: page numbering in MS Word

I hope someone can help.

I am trying to number the pages of the curriculum I've 
written.  At page 12 the paper layout changes from 
portrait to landscape for the Scope and Sequence portion. 
 This runs for about 10 pages and then reverts to 
portrait.  When I insert page numbers, the numbers skip a 
page at the start of the Scope and Sequence and then again 
at the end.  I don't have any idea why it skips a page 
number when the layout of the page is changed and I can't 
find an answer.  Any ideas?
