[LM_NET] Tar: 4th gr. book club

I am putting together a fourth grade book club and am having a hard time picking 
titles. I need titles that are appropriate, good for boys and girls and 
interesting?? Here are some I pulled from bookfair. Does anyone have any experience 
with the following suggestions or have any other suggestions??

Tadpole by Ruth White
The liberation of Gabriel King by K.L. Going
Eggs by Spinelli
Pictures of Hollis WOods by Patricia Reilly Giff
My teacher is an alien by Coville
The magic finger by Dahl
