Hi there,
I've had a few requests for this. I used directions from the following site in
order to make the Jeopardy game: http://www.joe.org/joe/2003april/tt2.shtml .
What was the hardest part?--for me, it was designing the game board!
In order to navigate through the game correctly, you're going to want to click
ONLY on the book icons in the upper right portions of the slides. After last
year's orientations, I vowed I would enlarge these icons--it is just too easy to
click on the middle of the slide, and if you do that, you'll keep accessing the
same slide over and over.
There are a couple of betting questions, along with a double Jeopardy-like
question that can be accessed by clicking on the book icon on the "Checkout"
column--I mentally save that for last.
Feel free to adjust it to your library. I used it last year after I talked to
students about the library. For the last six years we've been a ninth-grade-only
school. This year we'll have three grades, and I'll be able to establish a little
continuity(as well as incorporate some critical thinking skill questions into the
game).
