[LM_NET] Public Library Card Humor

Yesterday, as I was issuing a replacement card for a patron, the woman said, 
"...You'll
   
  never believe what happened to my card."  So I bit.  "What did happen to your 
card?"
   
  It seems she confused it with a $20.00 gift card and offered it, along with some 
cash, as 
   
  payment at an Olive Garden.
   
  The restaurant called later, having realized the mistake.  By the time the patron 
returned,
   
  however, the card could not be found.  
   
  I couldn't resist suggesting that the library card was worth much more than 
$20.00!
