We encourage you to join us for this interactive seminar designed to help
attendees deal with diversity in their work environment. It concentrates on
exploring how managerial leadership can infuse and advance diversity within
that environment and within the profession. Engaging participants in
appropriate exercises, Camila will cover topics such as leading by example;
defining the various types of diversity; empowering staff to embrace
diversity; working towards diverse staff success; employing problem-solving
and innovative thinking to infuse diversity. She will also share her
thoughts on cultural competencies.

library, school librarian, and assistant to the dean.

Special Advisory Task Forces. She is past president of ACRL and a REFORMA
