Netters, A student is claiming this poem is her own work. Do any of you recognize a poem that begins: The Face You See Mask alters my appearance for thou and thy friends Its color changes as the atmosphere changes, As uncertain as an Atheist's spiritual certainty. It smiles for thy air of triumphant pride and hides my indifference. Beneath smiles, no joy, no meaningfulness. Beneath the mask, my envy and indifference exist. This simulating I act as human nature. With charms and altered appearance, The real me is hidden. Thanks.
