Dear Colleagues,

Reportedly, when Barak Obama visited Japan and presented himself to the immigration
officer at the airport, the officer said to him, "I was born in Obama." After
reading the recent articles about Obama, Japan, in a local English language
newspaper, and in the International Herald Tribune, concerning the local excitement
in some corners of Obama over the campaign, we wanted to see for ourselves.

The Obama for Obama group is planning to launch their festivities on March 5th, to
coincide with the primaries on March 4th in the USA. [Japan is 15 hours ahead of
Central Time.] We loved the people, food and sights of Obama, Japan.

There is a link below to some photos from our brief trip.
