Our author links page now has a new URL -- Author website -- new URL http://www.mcelmeel.com/curriculum/authorlinks This URL is very close to the previous one but since I have now separated the 400 plus links into four pages we have also placed the index and the pages into a folder thus making a change in the URL. The old URL at http://www.mcelmeel.com/curriculum/authorlinks.html will redirect visitors for a time but if you have linked to the pages you should update your link as soon as possible. ========== In the transition we believe we have lost a few website citations so please check if your favorite author/illustrators website is not listed please let us know ASAP. Please note that among the new websites that are linked are: Nicole Rubel's -- the talented illustrator of the Rotten Ralph books; check out the materials to help celebrate Rotten Ralph's 30th birthday. Fun Stuff. Don Tate's -- The illustrator of Say Hey! and Zoom Things that Go (my personal favorites) among others -- and he is originally from Des Moines, Iowa (Yea! Iowa) Debby Dahl Edwardson -- a writer with a unique perspective -- from Barrow, Alaska, as far north as most of us can go. Jane Kurtz -- while her site is not "new" to the links, she does have some new pages on her site; especially the information about and fellow author/brother Chris Kurtz's summer trip to Ethiopia to help in-service literacy educators in Ethiopia. Jim Aylesworth and Carol Gorman both have new book pages for great new books -- If your favorite author is not represented please let me know but please note that we have made an effort to include only sites that are generated by the author/illustrator him or herself or in some cases by an individual fan of the author/illustrator's work. If you wish to search for all sites about a particular author or illustrator, including publisher sites, we suggest you utilize Google or AltaVista for your search. Thanks for any updates or new sites you can contribute. Sharron -- =================================================== Sharron L.
