Participants learn how to establish information-rich learning environments to help students become proficient users of instructional technology and efficient managers of information. Developed by the nationally recognized Information School at the University of Washington, this flexible five-quarter graduate-level program has both online and campus components designed to meet the needs of the working professional. SLP is fully approved by the State of Washington allowing out-of-state students who complete our program to qualify for a K-12 library media endorsement in their home state. The program is based on guidelines established by the American Association of School Librarians (AASL), the Washington Library Media Association, and the Alaska Association of School Librarians. The program is fully approved by the University of Washington Information School. SLP credits may be applied to a Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS). Apply now and start this summer.
