The Maximum Ride novels by James Patterson have been popular with my students seventh grade and above. They are clamouring for more. Can anyone tell me if Patterson's adult novels When the Wind Blows and Lake House, which deal with the same group of kids, would be suitable for me to provide for these students? I am sure the chapters are longer and the excitement level may not be as great, but I'm wondering if there is adult subject matter that I would want to avoid. Judy L.
