Just last week, I compiled a list of online resources for audio: Go to http://jeadigitalmedia.org Choose the tab across the top that says "Law and Ethics" and then choose "Online Law" for my article "Copyright Info & Audio Material You Can Use <http://jeadigitalmedia.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id =85:copyright-plagiarism-and-audio-material-you-can-use&catid=19:online& Itemid=78> ," which includes a handful of legal links. ~April van Buren * creative commons * NOTE: free music files are available at: http://www.authentichistory.com/ (great for period music) (Select a piece you like, right click on "here," choose "save target as," and save music clip to your Photostory file) Other mp3 sites that might be helpful include: http://www.televisiontunes.com/ OR http://freeplaymusic.com/ OR http://ccmixter.org/ To add music with the "Create Music" button: - Click "Play" to preview a selection. If you like it, click OK. The music will load into the track. NOTE: Be sure to reduce the volume of your background music. The audience must be able to hear your narration clearly over the music. * My kids have used music from * www.brainybetty.com/soundsforpowerpoint.htm * www.ez-tracks.com/ * If you search for "free music powerpoint", you will find lots of choices. Not current hits, but legal music.... Mary Jo Enders, librarian * Super Duper Music Looper Thanks again to all who responded. I will have fun checking out all the above possibilities.
