My original request was: "Our 4th grades do a Presidents Hall of Fame each year. Sometimes 3rd grade also does a presidents project (which of course starts a bit of a "turf war" that I won't go into). This is a great chance for me to show them encyclopedias, Kids InfoBits and refresh their memories on using the Biography section, but I would like to add some more books to our presidential bio collection. I would like to know if you guys have a favorite series or collection that you recommend for a biography project on U.S. Presidents? Good indexing and table of contents is a must, and a timeline would be great. I'll be happy to post a hit. " Scholastic has a series that I purchased at the end of last year and there's also the Checkerboard series, but I only got two LM_Net responses. Thanks again for those who responded. Here they are: ___________ One worthy choice might be "Presidents of the U.S." (Child's World, 2009)-however you may want to check the reading level for your 4th graders> The one series that I have is the United States Presidents series by Paul Joseph and Anne W. (sorry I'm at home so not sure how to spell her name). It's super easy to use, includes a timeline and most books have a fun facts page. I would like to order additional series so please pass on any info you receive. _______________ Ronda Y.
