In an essay I posted to my site earlier today (Sunday, June 28th), Jeff Berglund, a professor at Northern Arizona University, shares a series of questions he uses in his Native literature courses. Many students in the course are English Education majors (interested in teaching high school English). Here's the link to his essay and questions: http://americanindiansinchildrensliterature.blogspot.com/2009/06/jeff-berglunds-response-to-desecrations.html Teachers, especially, may find his questions helpful. Thanks, Debbie (Please excuse cross-postings.) Visit my Internet resource: American Indians in Children's Literature http://americanindiansinchildrensliterature.net Debbie A.
