[LM_NET] TARGET > Persuasive writing in chapter books

Hello, 

A teacher has asked me to work with him on a persuasive writing unit.  I have 
pulled a set of picture books for him based on a list posted here last year.  We 
are also wanting to give the students (grade 5) examples of passages in chapter 
books.  

If anyone can think of a passage in a chapter book that would be suitable for 
read-aloud to grade 5 students, please send ideas my way!  I will post a hit if 
there is interest.
