[LM_NET] Tough customer update

Well, I went ahead and picked up a few beginning reading Star Wars books
over the weekend, and quickly processed them.  This morning when it was
time for my kindergarten class to check out books, I quietly pulled the
little Star Wars guy aside, showed him what I had, and said "The library
got some new books, and some of them are Star Wars books.  Do you want
any?"  His eyes got huge ... "You're the best!"  he exclaimed.  He found
one he'd never read before (which is kind of miraculous, considering!)
and practically danced over to the check out desk.  He beamed for the
rest of the checkout period ,and as his class left, stopped and said
"Thank you!"  I've never had such a happy customer ... and have learned
a valuable customer service lesson myself, one I won't forget! 

 

Thanks for the advice last week!  I'm thankful for this group!
