First of all, thank you to all who responded. I had a request for a HIT so here are
the responses. I think we will try the Gorilla glue first.

I purchased just the rubber mat part of the die cut and replaced it myself. I
scraped off the old rubber, stuffed the die and a new rubber mat into the cutting
machine and cut the rubber, then glued it on with wood glue. The rubber mats were
very inexpensive. It did take me quite a while to complete the job though.

My husband (the tech ed teacher) suggests a contact adhesive that one would use for
adhering plastic laminate (like Formica) to a cabinet top. He says you would need
to go to a hardware/lumber store for this type of adhesive.

Will Gorilla Glue do it? You could find them at your local Lowe's, Home Depot.
Perhaps even in Wal-Mart, depending on how well it's stocked. :)
The normal/original formula is akin to liquid Duck tape (my comparison, not the
company's!). They also make super glue and some other types...

contact Ellison. I don't think they are suppose to do that.

We just used Gorilla Glue to fix some of ours - worked great!
