[LM_NET] GEN:Old, bound periodicals

I have some old, bound periodicals that I'm planning on getting rid of, and I'd 
like to know if anyone would like them.  Please feel free to pass this along to any 
other librarians (college librarians??) who might be interested.  You could pick 
them up or I could probably send them a few books at a time through the BOCES/CDLC 
courier. (I'm not in a position to pay any shipping costs-so this is probably for 
local people.  FYI: Coxsackie is in Northern Greene County.
 
This is what I have:
Readers Guide to Periodical Literature_ March 1957-1990
Britannica Book of the Year 1966-1972, 1974-1980
Newsbank - 1985-1995, 1996
National Geographic 1934-1986-(some missing volumes)
Time - 1963-1985, (vol 110 -2 is missing)
Newsweek 1963-1985 (vol 78-1 is missing)
 
Also, if anyone has any experience with weeding old bound periodicals, please share 
your advice.  I'm tempted to just throw them all away, but I won't feel right doing 
it until I've made sure no one else wants them.

them together and send out one posting.
