[LM_NET] NJ Only: 8th grade authors

Good morning,
Well the bad news is that my foundation grant application got rejected
because the $3000 that Gordon Korman requires was too much.

The good news is that the principal would like to ask the PTO for help with
an author, but it has to be in the 1500-1800 dollar range.
Has anyone had a really good author specifically for 8th grade that would
fall into the price range?
 (7th grade already has Todd Strasser).
