[LM_NET] TAR: Using a scanner/barcodes for textbooks

 The high school I work for would like to start using  a barcode/scanning
system for its textbooks. Anyone have any recommendations as far as
machinery/software/company to use for this? What does it entail, what is the
cost going to be?
It is a small 9-12 school, about 200 students.
