ORIGINAL POST:

I am looking for a way to embed a PowerPoint presentation in my own website (I
use iWeb). Typically I use Google Docs, but I am limited to 10MB. This
presentation is 41MB. I have also used Vimeo, but it's filtered at our
district and I have been told it will not be opened. I've reduced the size of
my pics, but I have recorded text (so my start of the year 1st graders can
listen). I can't save this one as a Quicktime file because I need the students
to make choices and click on links within the presentation.

RESPONSES:
I use Authorstream.com and haven't been restricted by file size and I record
narration as well.

I am new to Macs but if you get the Mobile Me subscription, you can upload all
of your resources to be stored on the Apple server so maybe you can try the 60
day free trial to see if it suits your needs.
***
I ran into a similar concern when adding some screen capture ppt files
for my Master's digital portfolio. You could try uploading the large files as
zips instead, or try saving them as several smaller files ( if it is possible
to
split up the content.)
***
I have my powerpoints on www.myplick.com. Then I embed them into my website.
It's a great site. You can even add some of their free music and sync it.

Thanks for the suggestions!
