Hi everyone!

Help!! I was just hired as the new technology teacher for a busy urban
school. It is K - 8th, there are 4 rooms per grade, and I see one room of
each grade once a week for 10 weeks, then the classes rotate, and I get a
new set of rooms from each grade. So technically, I only see them 10 times a
year! What do I do with them??? Any ideas? I think I'll have them for 40
minutes. I have 27 Macs, and am a PC person (lol). As you can tell, I need
help! School starts Tuesday, and I have a feeling I'll have students on
Wednesday!

I also have to come up with a spiraling curriculum for the K - 8 (what to
work on in each grade to produce an 8th grader with all the technology
skills ready for HS), does anyone have one that I could start with, and
build on?

I also will need some routines and rituals, especially computer rules, and
consequences (that can be done in the classroom, without having to send the
kid out, or stop the class - maybe something like write
(something!)...ideas??? Any AND all ideas will be appreciated - I was a
school librarian before, but with budget cuts, this was a last resort!
Thanks everyone!
