[LM_NET] Tar: OBOS Overcoming Adversity/Obstacles

I am looking for suggestions for my school's One Book, One School program.
We want to use a picture book that shows a child overcoming adversity and/or
obstacles.  We serve a population of children who face many difficult
situations and we are hoping to show them that it is possible to succeed
despite seemingly overwhelming odds.  The book can be fiction or
non-fiction, but must be a picture book.  My school is 3rd-5th grade.
