Hello everyone, Just posted on the topic "What is a good 21st century library program?" In the vein of National testing, I was thinking, why can't we be tested as well? Then we might end up with a nice report card with a nice letter like a "B" and a nice comment like - "Library doing well on most categories, but needs to work on better reporting to Principal. Perhaps term reports would assist," or even an "A" for outstanding. Some Libraries without staff would unfortunately get an "E" as in extinct - perhaps the comment would read "No Library staff, boring books, nothing new purchased, can't find them anyway, no one to help me with my research, 60 million results from google, but can't find any good sites, so just copied and pasted, results falling." http://readingpower.wordpress.com/2010/04/11/what-is-a-good-21st-century-library-program/ I would be interested in other resources/links on this topic if others are able to share. I will post a hit with what I receive. I have posted some great links on my blog. > Regards, > > Anne Weaver > Head of Library and Information Services > All Hallows' School > Ann Street > Brisbane > > anneweaver9@gmail.com > http://readingpower.wordpress.com/ > twitter - Anneticipation > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
