What you're looking for is a content management system (CMS). There's many, many out there. Most of them have all the 2.0 features you want. I think most of the ones I've looked at also have quiz making abilities. But each one is different - so of course you need to evaluate! From our perspective, one of the best on the low end is School inSites, two great middle range ones are School Fusion and School Site with Cherry Hill Design. An amazing high end CMS is Whipple Hill. There's lots of others out there - but those are the stand outs we've encountered in our evaluation of CMS' this year. I can't wholly recommend our current CMS - Sharpschool. We are trying to locate a website design program or application that we could run on our site that would allow teachers to incorporate Web 2.0 features like blogs and wikis without always having to link to outside sources. Also, it would allow the ability to build quizzes and online activities (like quia.com) Is anyone aware of anything out there like this? Thanks in advance. ksmith@rbrhs.org Kathy Smith Media Specialist Red Bank Regional High School Little Silver, NJ 07739 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ************************************************************** -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
