Target: School Blog safety for kids Can anyone advise or give me some input on how they handle school blogs and internet safety with postings that have images of students associated with them? Specifically, we have classroom blogs that teachers use to communicate with parents on what they have done each week. Sometimes photographs of the students are included. We have asked that no names of students be used. Are others this restrictive, or do some schools use first names? Also, to post videos, some are using vimeo free accounts which do not have privacy settings. We would like to ask teachers to only post video if they use a paid account with restricted access. We are considering buying an account to do this for the school. Has anyone else done this and can advise?
