I'm curious if any of you have programs after school and/or keep the library open after school hours. I would love any feedback about this, as I'm new to role of librarian and my principal would like me to keep the library open until 8 p.m. one to two nights a week. Since ours is a residential school for the deaf, a large percentage of our students live on campus and could potentially make use of the library in the evenings. However, I don't want to fall into any unforeseen pitfalls keeping late hours... I appreciate any input!
