Sorry to post directly to the list, but when I posted directly to Tammy, my email
bounced.
When I was in an elementary school, one that I enjoyed reading to my 4th graders
was The Trouble With Treehorn by Elizabeth Parry Heide. It's actually presented in
graphic format. I think that students need to be at least 4th grade level to truly
appreciate the humor of the story.

Hello everyone,

I've been racking my brain for a read aloud story that could be read to 4th graders
for 20 minutes that is funny.  Any suggestions?  All of the ones I've thought of
are too long or too juvenile.  TIA
