Hi Lm_Netters, This week I will be teaching 6th grade students how to cite images. They will be printing photos and other illustrations to mount on posters in connection with a research project. Since most students will be using Google to find their pics (They will be doing their search with their classroom teacher) and many images found through Google don't fit the categories in MLA, v. 7 (photos - Section 5.7.6) and JPG files (Section 5.7.18), I'm wondering which format to use. I've tried bibme, easy bib, OWl, and OSLIS and found big differences. I think it's important that the citation include the fact that it's a digital image. What format are you using? Thanks.
