Does your public library have a summer reading program? Would someone from their children's department be willing to come and do a presentation? Since your students would be most likely to be using the public library during the summer, this might be the best resource for a presenter. And it is a great way to build rapport with the public library system. More specifically, someone whose presentation captures an audience of about 350 students with audience participation. Any ideas?
