I know, I know, this has come up before. However, I can't find the HITs in the archive, and my memory is that the answer they contained was inconclusive. Has an answer been decided on? May a school post covers from books on a website or blog with out getting permission from the publisher and/or illustrator every time? Here's what's happening: The reading team in my K-4 school wants to explain and educate our parents about the reading program their children are getting in class. They have asked me to do reading lists for two different grade spansb (K-2 & 3-4), and a book of the month recommendation for each span as well. Pictures of the covers would be a nice addition, but I don't want to break any laws. Thank you in advance for any help on this issue.
