TARGET--> Staff Increases for Block Scheduling
Dear Colleagues:
I received Peter Milbury wonderful information on block scheduling,
and shared it with my principal.  He was very impressed, and asked
me to use the power of the net for a follow-up question which would
be most helpful for us.

"We are a small high school with limited course offerings and we offer
very few electives.  We plan to initiate block scheduling in the 1995-96
school
their required high school credits more quickly.  We presently do not
have the depth in our curriculum to offer these students a great variety
of elective courses to fill their remaining time.  We feel that additional
staff will be needed.  Has any school with block scheduling found it
necessary to add staff to meet these additional scheduling demands?"
